OOU STRIKE OFFICIALLY CALLED OFF!!!
After ACADEMIC STAFF UNION ASSOCIATION (OOU-BRANCH) meeting today, it was concluded that the 2 months strike should be called off since the School Authority as agreed to pay them two month salary.
It is obvious that OGUN STATE GOVERNOR - SENATOR IBIKUNLE AMOSUN is not in any way backing the university up financially and not showing concern to 2 months lasted OOU STRIKE, But the school principal Officers and Vice Chancellor as agreed to pay the ACADEMIC STAFF UNION ASSOCIATION (OOU-BRANCH) their outstanding 2 months salary, which result in calling off the strike today 22nd of September, 2016 after their meeting. Hence all OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY Students are expected to resume their academic activities latest on Monday 25th of September, 2016.
